DownToBuck has a bedtime. It is a very important bedtime. However, watching the last game of the Finals is more important, so I stayed up.
And then J.R. Smith came along and made the game take like ten minutes longer than it needed to. Now I’m all groggy this morning. If the last minute of the game could have elapsed with nothing but a Brendan Haywood missed layup and some hot Warriors-running-down-the-clock action, I wouldn’t be like this. Instead, that crazy pothead hit a bunch of threes and caused the intentional fouling to continue until the very end.
I think there’s another reason I’m feeling so down this morning:
There’s no more NBA basketball until a long time from now.
Damn.
