Larry Nance Jr. 15 Points/3 Dunks Full Highlights (1/3/2016)

After the Suns scored twelve points in their first quarter against the Lakers and then started the second quarter off just as badly, I was getting hyped that they might set or at least tie the record for fewest points in a half by an NBA team. They ended the first half with twenty-two, which is absolutely horrendous but not record-settingly so. There was still hope at that point that if they simply maintained that pace, they would set the record for fewest points in a game, which was and still is 49. To have the record within reach and then go ahead and score 77 in the game makes me mad.

I don’t know how I’m going to blame Larry Nance Jr. for this but I will anyway. He should have been playing more defense out there. Him and everybody else on the Lakers. Where’s their killer instinct? Where’s their desire to embarrass their opponents in the most shameful way possible? Once the game was put away I would trot out a lineup of five defensive stoppers (do the Lakers have such a lineup?) and make the Suns earn their buckets.
