It’s well known that fans from Philadelphia are the worst in the league. From throwing batteries at opposing players to puking on little girls to pretending that a meat-and-cheese sandwich is in some way a unique and admirable cultural symbol, they have proven that they have no respect for the purity of sports or its participants. However, it is not time to talk about all of that. It is time, instead, to award them a new title: “Stupidest Fans in Sports”.

Chants directed at one Carl Landry, who, while a fine player in his own right, is not even close to being the most valuable player in the entire NBA. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I don’t know what they were thinking. Have they not heard of Stephen Curry, who is the clear front-runner for the MVP award? I find that hard to believe, but believe it I must, because there is no other explanation for these chants. Following this, there is only one conclusion to make: Philly fans are the stupidest and most ignorant in the entirety of the USA, and possibly on the entire planet as well.
