Michael Beasley 28 Points Full Highlights (1/10/2017)

The second-half gameplan for the Milwaukee Bucks was basically this: give the ball to Michael Beasley at the elbow and let him do whatever he wants. Mix in a few Greg Monroe post-ups, and BAM you have a win against the Spurs. The Bucks had to come up with something with Giannis at 5% strength, and this must have been as good as anything.

Fans of ball movement should stop right now and close the video. Beasley did make a few nice passes, including one for the game-winning three by Malcolm Brogdon, but for the most part it was iso-ball at its most horrifying extreme. Did I say “horrifying”? I mean “awesome”. Take that, Spurs. Ball movement isn’t everything, you know! Sometimes you just have to give it to the guy with the advantage (guarding him with Davis Bertans and Danny Green looks bad in retrospect), and let him do his thing. This dude was the #2 pick for a reason: he can get buckets. Most of the time, the Bucks don’t need his buckets, but tonight, they did, and he came through.

How’s Tyler Ennis doing, by the way?
