In case you were wondering, no, I did not forget to put “Career High” in the title of this video. Apparently Wes Johnson scored 29 points his rookie year, somehow, even though he was even then a huge bust, and I even made highlights of him scoring 27 with the Lakers. That vid got only 3000 views, by the way. If you like what you see here, check that one out as well. I won’t provide the link, since I wouldn’t be able to avoid making it a Rickroll.
This is tied for his third highest scoring game, though. Kind of an insane for the fourth overall pick to be this bad at scoring, but you know, it’s not like he’s an Anthony Bennett or anything. He’s only 30, and what better time to have a career renaissance than right now? He’s been straight-up good the last few games for the Clippers, no qualifiers needed. Just a good basketball player for a team that kept losing over and over until tonight. Wes “10-game losing streak preventer” Johnson. That’s his new nickname, folks.
