Dario Saric 27 Points Full Highlights (12/18/2017)

Tonight was a refreshing throwback to the Dario Saric of his rookie year, the Dario Saric who didn’t have to share the rock with anybody except Embiid when he managed to get on the court. The Dario Saric who didn’t have to deal with expectations of his team being good, the Dario Saric who was a free man.

After a slow start, he’s been more consistent this year, which is a nice step forward, but 20-point games for him are few and far between. There are so many weapons on the 76ers now, compared to last year, that he has to settle for third or fourth-option touches. And with his lack of a reliable three-ball or free-throw drawing capability, 20 points is hard to get.

Even tonight he wasn’t way above his usual shot attempts, and until the final minutes didn’t even have that many points. He went crazy right at the end trying to save his team from an embarrassing loss to the Bulls, but he couldn’t quite pull it off. Still, I’m getting slight vibes of T-Mac’s 13 in 33 seconds.
