Anthony Tolliver dunks are an extremely rare occurrence; the dunk seen in this video is just the third of his season, and the first one since early November. Last year, the Tollbooth dunked in ten times, but it’s unlikely he matches that explosive total this season, so nobody should be expecting him to get another seven dunks in the second half of the season.
I’m noting all of this because when you see real-life footage of Tolliver dunking the ball, you’d better appreciate the heck out of it, because it doesn’t happen very often. It’s like if I showed you authentic footage of bigfoot walking around in my backyard. Tolliver has way less hair than bigfoot, true, but the relative unlikeliness of both those videos is comparable.
I’ve even gone so far as to donate the clip of the dunk to both the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian. The Library of Congress will take anything that you give them but the Smithsonian allegedly has some standards in place to ensure they don’t accept any old garbage. I am confident that my clip will soon be on display in their museum because it is definitely not garbage. It is awesome.
