Brandon Jennings 16 Points/12 Assists/1 Return Full Highlights (3/12/2018)

Brandon Jennings is back in Milwaukee. Baddy Chuckerson McNobrains, as he was affectionately called. The last we saw of him in the Bucks’ green and red, he was scoring 3 points on 1 of 7 shooting with 1 assist in 22 minutes as his team got done getting swept by the Heatles. An era that started with so much promise, with 55 points for an eager fanbase desperate for excitement, ended with him and Monta Ellis leading a doomed 8th seed into the abyss.

And now he’s back.

I didn’t know what to think, when I heard that he was getting picked up on a 10-day. I knew he was kinda sucking in the G-League, which is never a good sign, but I also knew that he would think that league beneath him, that he wouldn’t try to play efficiently but instead to simply put on a show for the fans. In the end, I was okay with it. Fun times were had with Jennings in the old days, despite his flaws. Why not bring back some of the magic?

Then tonight happened. Yes, it was against a Grizzlies team that is G-League level. Do I care? No. This is the Jennings of old. The speedster, the passer, the swaggy three-point chucker. 16 points, 12 assists, 8 rebounds for good measure (if he had gotten the trip-dub… don’t even want to think about it), this isn’t sustainable but who cares? I’m hyped. Every Bucks fan on earth is hyped. He’s going to get an insane reaction when he checks in for the first time at the Bradley Center.

Bucks in 6.
