I just want to reiterate my disappointment (seems to be a common theme lately, where are the players who are impressing me?) with Michael Beasley’s scoring after Porzingis got deaded. I thought for sure that he’d be a 20 points per night kind of guy after that, since he had been putting up some big games, but I guess I underestimated the effect Porzingis had on the Knicks’ offense. A player that good opens things up for others; now, there is no one the Knicks to open anything up for anybody, and it’s showing. The Knicks can’t win a game.
Beasley came back to life a little bit in this one, hitting those tough shots that he loves to take. As you can see from the title of the video, he also dished 7 dimes. I thought that might be a career high, but he had 9 in a game once for the Suns (he sucked SO BAD that year what even went wrong there?). Still, these were some nice assists, like he looked at what Kyle O’Quinn has been doing recently and said “if that fatass can do it then so can I” and went out and did it.
