Okay, so, what I’m gathering is that the Wizards are unmitigated total utter sewer trash dumpster fire garbage. I am basing this finding on the last few games the ‘Zards have played. They did beat Boston, but that doesn’t count. They’ve won 4 of their last 12 heading into the ‘offs and are now the 8th seed. Otto Porter might be dead. John Wall has been resurrected, but he could die again at any time.
Enter Jodie Meeks. He’s sucked this season, or, more accurately, hasn’t been given time to get into a shooting rhythm. He actually hasn’t been horrible, decent in limited minutes, but the three-point explosions we’ve become accustomed to have been nonexistent. This game marks the most threes he’s made in a game this season, with 5. For a shooter like Meeks, that’s unacceptable.
Let’s hope he’s an x-factor in the playoffs, because Washington is going to need all the help they can get. Except, of course, that they’re playing the Raptors, so considering past events, it’ll probably be a 4-0 sweep against those Canadian chokers known as the “trash brothers”.
