Quincy Pondexter 13 Points Full Highlights (11/28/2018)

The last time I made a Quincy Pondexter highlight video was on April 18, 2015. Pondexter was playing for the Pelicans during the first-round sweep at the hands of the Warriors. For some reason, he played 36 minutes in the first game, scoring twenty points. Then, poof. He was gone. For two years, Pondexter was out of the league due to some kind of surgery or complications from surgery or something. I think I heard somewhere that he was close to death from an infection? Or was that Omer Asik who was close to death?

Anyway, Pondexter apparently is healthy enough to play basketball again, and in the intervening years, he has transitioned from “role player who gets some minutes” to “veteran role player who gets very few minutes”. He played the entire fourth quarter of this one, but only because the Spurs were down by 40 (!!!!) going into the quarter. In a closer game, he wouldn’t have seen the court, or only seen it for a few minutes.

By the way, does his neck look way too huge? Is that a roid neck? Not that I’m complaining if he really is on steroids. When you almost die, you get to do whatever you want to get back in NBA shape.
