Enes Kanter 24 Points Full Highlights (4/5/2019)

This is the purest possible highlight video: 12 buckets presented in chronological order, no interruptions. No replays (none were shown by ESPN). No free throws (none taken). No defense (by either side). No assists (I ignored them). Just buckets, an even dozen of them, scored by Enes Kanter, arranged in one smoothly-flowing package.

Buckets are what Kanter does. He also does rebounds, but since rebounds are not really highlightable (I learned my lesson when I showed every rebound of Gobert grabbing 25, damn, that took a long time and it wasn’t even cool), those don’t matter for our purposes. Kanter may be lacking in some areas of the game, it’s well documented, but you cannot deny that he always figures out ways to score in the paint.

In a matchup like this, this kind of performance was an expected outcome. Nikola Jokic is like Kanter: great on offense, but a big nothing on defense. What is Jokic going to do to stop him? Try to hit him with some of his arm flab? Look mopey at him? I haven’t seen what Jokic did to him on the other side, but I don’t care. This is about Kanter, right now. Kanter and his 12 buckets in the paint, 11 of them being non-dunks.
