Behold, another player who the Warriors, so confident that their dynasty would last forever and believing there was no need to develop young talent, let slip away. It seemed a minor decision at the time, to let a two-way contract player go, but you reap what you sow, and the Warriors are reaping nothing but L’s while the Raptors dismantle superteams left and right.
It is with that said that I forbid Warriors fans from watching this video. If there are any Warriors fans left who are willing to consume NBA-related content, that is. I don’t think there are very many.
Everyone else (including Lakers fans, though they probably don’t want to see this guy ever again) is welcome to enjoy watching Chris Boucher dominate LeDumb Brains and the entire Lakers team. The Raptors already have their Giannis-like player in Pascal Siakam, but it turns out that they’re grooming another one, because why wouldn’t you want two. And guess what, this is secondary Giannis-esque player already has a stroke that’s five time smoother than the original. And way more hair. And is also, somehow, more than full year older.
Yeah, that’s the weird thing with Boucher: he’s 26 already, almost 27. If he’s gonna be a good role-player in this league, he pretty much needs to show that right now. Which he is, in this game. In the other 6 games this season, not so much (1-for-9 from the field combined). Still, no matter how poorly he plays, he will be guaranteed to have more energy than Marc Gasol, whose championship hangover shows no signs of going away any time this season.
