The Raptors broadcast presented an interesting stat which I will now re-present to you because of how interesting it is: Serge Ibaka has the second most wins, regular-season and playoff combined, of any player this decade. To spice things up, I’ll make a quiz so you can guess at which player is first:
A. Brandon Jennings
B. Dwyane Wade
C. Chris Kaman
D. LeBron James
E. Andre Iguodala
The correct answer is C. Chris Kaman.
But it’s crazy that Ibaka is second. Think of all the great players who have played this decade, all the superstars and regular stars and fringe All-Stars. A lot of amazing players have played over the past 10 years, but Ibaka outwon them all except for Kaman. 571 wins he amassed, a distant second to Kaman’s 712, but a bit ahead of James Harden’s 563 or Kevin Durant’s 561.
Fine, it wasn’t Chris Kaman in first. It was LeBron James with 630. But that’s so LAME. LeBron probably is in first for every possible cumulative stat over this decade, god damn it. There will never be parity in the NBA until he dies, straight up.
