Out of all NBA players whose last names are letters of the alphabet, Alonzo “Gee Whiz” Gee is certainly the best. He might also be the second-best Alonzo in NBA history. He’ll need those credentials, because when people ask him about his NBA career 20 years from now, he’ll want to avoid saying “I was the third-best player on a 20-win team”.
But just because you don’t win any games doesn’t mean I can’t make highlights out of you! Gee Whiz had 18 points, eleven of them in the first quarter, and also threw down a nasty oop courtesy of Kyrie Irving.
