Did Thunder GM Sam Presti make a big mistake letting Byron Mullens go for basically nothing? Would this sweet-shooting center take the Thunder to the promised land and beyond?
Probably not. He’s kind of an inefficient chucker, and there is no room for more shots on the Thunder. He’s best suited on a team like the Bobcats. Their respective awfulnesses complement each other.
But his is really that bad? Is he just a victim of being the only half-competent big on the Bobcats? That’s my guess. It’s hard to be an efficient scorer when hardly anyone on your team can put the ball in the hole.
