Aside from Joel Pryzbilla, there might not be a less quick player in the NBA than Hamed Haddadi. He kind of shambles around the court, as though no one ever taught him how to move properly and he just figured out himself. If you want a center who can run with the guards in transition, you’re out of luck. But if you want a slowed down half-court offense kind of thing, than Haddadi might be the perfect fit.
Last time I did Haddadi highlights he didn’t do anything besides stuff at the rim. But here he shows that he has extended range, even hitting a jumper from outside the paint. If he were a Laker, Mike D’Antoni would take that as a sign that he should camp out in the corner and shoot threes. And maybe he should. I’d pay good money to watch that.
