Omri Casspi is from Israel. That means there are, in theory, tons of possible avenues for funny descriptions. ZOG conspiracy theories, yarmulke mishaps, pork. These concepts are all ripe for hilarity. But no. I can’t stereotype Jews for fear of being crucified (whoops). Never mind that I stereotype black people ALL THE TIME. And white people too. Oh well.
What I wonder, is there some sort of sport yarmulke for Jewish athletes? I don’t see Casspi wearing one. Is he not orthodox enough? Is it like a mini-yarmulke that’s too small to see but still counts? These questions remain unanswered. What we do know is that he scored 20 points against the Kings, which is a season high. Pretty good.
