Nate Wolters was a fun story early in the season. Starting a bunch of games, not doing as bad as you would expect, throwing oops to Giannis. Point guard of the future, for sure.
But now he doesn’t get to play except in blowouts (so every other game). I don’t get it. Ridnour is old and not very good. Wolters is young and not very good. Why not give the backup PG minutes to someone with potential? Is it because he can’t shoot threes? Cause that’s not a very good reason.
Last night’s game against the Hawks was even more blowout-y than usual, so Bucks fans were treated to over a quarter of Wolters action. It wasn’t very exciting, truth be told. Except for when Giannis took it coast-to-coast and jammed on Ayon. That was fun. At least I think it was. I sometimes have a hard time remembering what fun basketball looks like.
