In the midst of a career year, Wes Johnson is slowly improving his game to the point where he might not be as big a bust as I thought. In a theoretical scenario where Wes is able to maintain his current production and efficiency numbers over the course of several years, he would not be the biggest bust of his draft class. That honor would then be conferred to Cole Aldrich, who, in limited minutes, has shown no ability to do anything other than be tall and white.
Actually, I would even say that right now, Cole Aldrich is a bigger bust than Wes. But you’re not out of the woods yet, Mr. Fourth Overall! If you keep taking those ridiculous long, contested jumpers, you will forever be a detriment to whatever team you play for.
