Why do people get excited about crossovers where it’s obvious that the one getting crossed was tripped by the one doing the crossing? Devin Harris’ feet detached themselves from the rest of his body after Bynum gave him the ol’ razzle-dazzle, but you can clearly see Devin stumble over Bynum’s foot, which was the real source of the apparent ankle-breakage. Then, Bynum carries the ball and sinks a jumper to the screams of the wild Palace crowd.
It’s like watching a dunk where somebody obviously travels – it’s still fun to watch, but it feels dirty somehow. This is the kind of crossover where you can’t put it in any top-10 mixes because then you might as well just be making videos for And-1 Mixtape.
However, that behind-the-back dish to Jerebko for the Euro-flush was totally legitimate and is definitely in my top ten assists this year.
