Stats accumulated against the Knicks shouldn’t even count anymore. They are like the 80’s-era Nuggets in terms of not playing any defense ever. Yeah, Klay-doh scored 25 points, but you can just see the defeat in the Knicks’ eyes. They don’t even care about closing out on shooters.
Frankly, I’m a little mad that Klay-doh didn’t take this opportunity to rack up his first-ever forty-pointer. However, some of the blame lies with Mark Jackson, who rested all his good players with his team up thirty at the start of the fourth. Come on, man.
