The Timberwolves have disappointed yet again. Their fans will claim that injuries are the main culprit. They may be right. But when you start mentioning how long Chase Budinger has been out you sound really desperate. You don’t see me blaming the Bucks’ record on Pachulia’s injury.
I can see their point, though, at least with Kevin Martin. Without him they basically have no scoring on the wings. He’s a vital part to what the Wolves are trying to do. He might not be as potent of a scorer since they took away his rip-through, but he’s still a great shooter and can make all sorts of off-balance crap.
Just take a look at these highlights. Almost all of his jumpers are “bad” shots. Tell that to Ben McLemore, though, who is still crying in the showers last time I checked. Poor kid didn’t really have a chance.
