Some people say the Bucks aren’t tanking. I say phooey. The Bucks are tanking, and not hiding it very well. How do I know?
They’re playing Jeff Adrien decent minutes at center.
It’s kind of reminiscent of the John-Brockman-at-center experiment they tried a few years ago. Adrien is an NBA 6-7, which in reality means he’s more like 6-5. He’s got the big body that you like in a center, but he’s just too short. Don’t think I’m hating on him. Somehow despite his stature he’s leading the Bucks in rebounds per game while only playing 20 minutes. This guy is def the next Reggie Evans.
The only reason they haven’t started him at center yet is because they don’t want Adam Silver to get mad and take away their draft pick. But if they could, they totally would.
