I get the feeling that most NBA fans aren’t truly aware of Mike Scott’s existence. He has a very commonplace name and is a bench player for a team that no one really likes in the Atlanta Hawks. There is nothing notable about his game other than that he added a three point shot, but not a particularly dangerous one. He’s also black; a white player with similar properties might have a chance at being that sucky white dude who everyone patronizingly cheers for.
These factors combine to form a player that no one cares about. Even I find myself unenthused by these highlights. What is wrong with me?
