Josh Smith 23 Points/7 Assists Full Highlights (12/6/2014)

We are almost a quarter of the way through the season, and Josh Smith is still shooting a mere 38% from the field. I won’t rip into Joshy here too much, since I know a lot of his fans will end up reading my words, but Christ, he needs to pick his shots better. Now that we’re twenty games in, this isn’t just a small sample size. This is actually how Josh will perform for the rest of the season.

There are no midrange jumpers in this video, but I fully expect that if I were to watch all of Josh’s misses, there would be some in there. Even a hardass like Stan Van Gundy apparently doesn’t have the clout to corral his misguided power forward.

In other Pistons-related news, Brandon Jennings’ FG% finally dropped below 40% where it belongs. I have no regrets about the Brandon Knight trade, but I’d start to sweat if Jennings could go a whole year shooting 45% while getting seven assists a game.
