This is what we’ve all been waiting for. The realization of Rudy Gobert’s immense raw talent. He may not have scored many points, that’s true, maybe if you weren’t a disciple of BSPN you would realize that there are many other ways to affect the game. Gobert, all seven feet of him, caused chaos in the absence of Derrick Favors.
Check out those blocks. He blocked Wade’s jumper, TWICE. Take that, you roid devil! He grabbed tons of rebounds, terrorizing the smaller Miami team. And, to top it all off, he showcased his ability to hit three-point shooters with deft no-look passes.
The usual Gobert highlights involve him dunking it multiple times. It’s true, that that is the way in which he most noticably imposes his will on the court. Notice the lack of slammers in this video. His game is expanding as we speak, in the manner of a nebula, but instead of star-gas, he’s expanding with confidence and poise.
