I know Austin Carr is well loved in Cleveland for his steadfast commitment to the franchise, both in his playing days and in his commentating days, but it’s time for him to go.
Despite his over-reliance on bad catchphrases, he manages to talk himself into corners where he is unsure of how to escape. He doesn’t think before he talks; he just goes, hoping that his labyrinthine thought processes will allow his mouth to release a coherent thought.
I considered solving this problem, temporarily, by placing catchy Christmas music over this whole video, ignoring the commetary and game noises entirely. Nothing gets me pumped for basketball like smooth-jazz renditions of popular holiday tunes!
