I was really looking forward to being able to write “Career High” in the title of this video. Khris Middleton with 25 at the end of the third quarter combined with a rash of injuries/suspensions/ejections meant that he was sure to get the minutes and shots to eclipse the 30-point mark.
Little did I know that the Bucks would go on one of the worst streaks of offensive offense I’ve ever laid eyes on. They still gutted out the win, despite scoring only nine in the quarter, but Middleton was held scoreless.
He still had a good game, and is probably the reason the Bucks won at all, so I can’t be too sad. It’s just, you know, career highs mean a lot. What is 25 points? It’s not nothing, but it could be a whole lot more something.
