Draymond Green 24 Points Full Highlights (4/7/2015)

Draymond Green is one of the more alluring free agents for this coming offseason. What kind of team doesn’t want an always-angry defensive monster? Oh, and did you know that he can sometimes score the ball too? Tony Allen he is not!

Or maybe he is. I’m not convinced that Draymond’s (already limited) offense will carry over to any team that doesn’t have Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson on it. He has increased his offensive prowess level from “WOAT” to “Looks fine if you squint” over the course of his short career, which is all well and good. But he benefits from not having the attention of the defense most of the time.

He’s not worth the max to anyone but the Warriors, is what I’m saying. If another team gets him, those fans will initially love his defensive effort and intangibles. Then, over time, they will grow to despise his brickiness. “We paid how much for a guy who can’t even hit a shot?” Will be their cry.

I don’t even know why we’re talking about this. Wouldn’t the Warriors do everything they can to retain him. Why break up a championship-winning core?
