No matter how old and run-down Manu Ginobili gets, there is one aspect of him that will never waver: his fans.
Those dudes (and a few gals, so the YouTube analytics thing tells me) are dedicated! Manu can have a pedestrian performance, and they will be all over it like ducks on a junebug. It’s uncanny. Is it because he represents a golden era of Argentine basketball prowess? An era that is coming to an end, without much hope of replication? I’d be a big fan of a countryman as well if my country was no longer producing much in the way of NBA talent.
Sorry, Argentina people. Just calling it like I see it.
