It has come to my attention that there are people out there who are hating on Jahlil Okafor.
Attention Jahlil Okafor haters: STOP hating on Jahlil Okafor RIGHT NOW!
So, yeah, he punched a dude and drove his car really fast. Who cares? Only TMZ and TMZ-readers. The only thing I care about is his on-court exploits. He could put a bunch of children in a bus and set it on fire or put a bunch of buses inside a child and set those on fire and I wouldn’t care.
So, on-court exploits only. Let’s see. He is the focal point of an NBA offense as a rookie, which is something that every fanbase wants for their young talent. But somehow people are criticizing him for it? Like he’s supposed to better at being the focal point of the offense even though everything around him sucks? I take that back. He has Kendall Marshall now. So, almost everything around him.
Can’t have it both ways. Either a rookie is inefficient and an overall net-negative while putting up decent numbers, or they are invisible 3/4 of the time while taking advantage of whatever easy opportunities they get. Those are the two options. Jahlil is experiencing option one, and it’s fun as heck, so stop hating or I’m going to be mad.
