The Suns have finally done what Bucks fans were (futilely, as it turned out for them) clamoring for with regards to Brandon Knight: turned him into a 6th-man chucker.
It hasn’t been as successful as people were probably imagining. He’s scoring way worse this year, on way worse percentages, for a way worse team. Uh oh! Knight’s career is in danger of derailing if he doesn’t find a way to get back into his normal groove. That would at least vindicate all the Bucks fans who wouldn’t shut up about how bad he was while ignorant national commentators wanted him to be an All-Star.
This 32-point game puts him back on the path to respectability, but it came at a cost. Check out all the times in this video he dribbles the ball up the court, does some moves, and scores, all without even looking to pass. If I was a Suns fan, I’d be screaming at my TV for him to give up the damn ball.
Comparing this with what Steve Nash used to do is like the saddest thing ever. I don’t recommend it.
