I would love to get hyped for this 26-point performance for T.J. “Warren Peace” Warren. I would love that more than anything. I WANT to get hyped for it. But I can’t. My hype glands simply refuse to produce hype juice for my brain to receive and consume. I’m sitting here waiting for my damn glands to supply me with the hype I crave but it’s not happening. At all.
I think I know the reason. This video has two major things wrong with it: 1.) it has too many layups and 2.) it has too many free throws. There is a third thing wrong with it but it’s related to the first one: 3.) there aren’t enough midrange jumpers off the dribble.
It is simply impossible to get hyped for a T.J. Warren “highlight” video when it’s more like a T.J. Warren “cutting to the basket and converting layups/getting fouled” video. If you do find yourself getting hyped by this video, you are a sick and depraved individual and I recommend that you seek psychiatric help by darting in front of a bus. Maybe the jarring impact will reprogram your brain into only getting hyped for jumpshots, which of course is the natural way of the world, you sick freak.
