The Jazz have now won 8 straight games. I don’t really know why they are so good all of a sudden, or why they were so bad before, but I’m looking at the stats and it seems like Joe “Sloppy Joe” Ingles has been having some good games during that stretch, so I’m just going to go ahead and say that he’s the reason for the Jazz’s unexpected resurgence.
I just realized that I can’t remember that I’ve ever said anything bad about Sloppy Joe in any of my numerous descriptions for him. What’s up with that? Usually I’m willing, if not eager, to provide a honest evaluation of a player in order to facilitate the spread of truthfulness and wisdom. Even if that means being a little harsh.
So, in honor of Ingles’ career-high 23 points, here are some things about his game that aren’t so great:
-Not much of a rebounder
-Plays below the rim
-Low volume of threes considering his percentage
-Not a number one option
-That hairline
