Does anyone even remember Eric Gordon’s 41-point game as a rookie with the Clippers? That was a decade ago now, and there aren’t really any highlights from it. Certainly not “full” highlights, just one of those lame SportsCenter clips that used to infect all corners of YouTube until certain people (including me) got off their butts and started giving people what they wanted. If I had a time-machine, which I did but then I destroyed it because of all the chaos I was causing, I would really carefully go back in time, compile the video, put it on a thumb drive (along with some sweet titty pics with sentimental value that I really should’ve had a backup of), bury the drive in my backyard, then go back to the present day, dig up the drive, and then upload the video anonymously as a piece of “found footage”.
This is his second-highest scoring game, can you believe that? I feel like I should be way more excited than I am. And can you believe that this ties his career-high in made threes? More evidence that I should by hyped but I’m just not. How can a three-point champion’s career-high in threes be a mere eight? Even Voshon Lenard had eight once, and he’s, like, the worst three-point champion ever.
He should’ve had more, definitely, because the Rockets ended up losing. This despite Harden’s 54. Something is seriously wrong with this team and the answer probably isn’t Luc Richard Mbah a Moute as much as I want it to be.
