Juan Hernangomez 14 Points Timberwolves Debut Full Highlights (2/8/2019)

Juan Hernangomez is free! Paul Millsap can’t ruin his career anymore! My new rule for video descriptions is that I have to start off with three sentences that end with exclamation points!

For real though, things really weren’t working out for Juancho in Denver. Some of that was on him (for losing confidence too quickly), some of it was on the coaching staff (for jerking him around so much over his tenure), and most of it was on Paul Millsap (for trying to ruin his career), but what’s done is done. It’s over now. We don’t have to think about it for even one second more. Boom. Second’s over. Time to move on.

Hernangomez should be in line for some decent minutes going forward. Despite this game, the Timberwolves probably still suck (this is the second description in a row I’ve said that, so I hope I’m not wrong or I’ll have to do a lot of 1984-style revision to make me not look like a dumbass), so the fact that he’s not proven himself to be a winning player doesn’t matter. And look at the roster they’ve got right now. Where even is another true power foward? Naz Reid? Is Omari Spellman a power forward? Don’t even try to tell me that Jake Layman is one, and even if he was, he’s apparently dead forever so who cares?

What I’m getting at here is that there’s nothing getting in the way from Hernangomez getting tons of minutes. The only thing that can stop him is himself; if he continues being passive, you know full well that Reid is waiting in the wings, ready to be aggressive.
