The ONLY positive of Coby White taming his lion’s mane into a more manageable hairstyle is that it’s easier to fit his head into the thumbnail. But that’s IT. There may be other benefits from his perspective, like it not hindering him on the court as much or whatever, but I don’t care about his perspective. All I care about is MY perspective, the perspective of a man who loved that afro like he loves a stray kitten rescued from under a park bench during a rain storm.
That thumbnail does look nice though. His head really fits way better inside the confines of that 16:9 rectangle now.
For basically the first time since he scored 26 against the Bucks back in mid November, White had a nice scoring performance in a game the Bulls lost. There’s a trend that seems to be stronger than for any other player on the Bulls where if he has a good game, his team wins. The trend is there for most players, obviously, because scoring points leads to won games, but for someone like Zach LaVine it’s not as strong of a correlation. Because that dude just scores tons of points all the time.
