Hearing Marv Albert pronounce “garbage time” as “GAR-bahge time” pretty much made me the happiest dude ever. Then I remembered he’s a horrible sex-offending scumbag who can’t even commentate coherently anymore and I stopped being happy, but then I got happy again because I remembered that Cory Joseph, who really sucks, scored 22 points in a playoff game.
I don’t even like Cory Joseph, but what I do like is the opportunity to showcase a legit scrublord during the playoffs. I’d like to take this moment to thank the Raptors for sucking really badly, so bad that there was like a whole quarter of time of the garbage for Joseph to score 18 of his 22 points. Even better: most of his points came off of jumpers, so if this performance happened in the first half of a Raps win, people would be talking about how good he is and how come he hasn’t been getting noticed before?
Instead, I think Toronto fans all hate him still, but they’re temporarily redirecting that hate towards DeMar DeRozan.
