Damion Lee 24 Points Full Highlights (3/7/2020)

I complained last year about never getting to make Warriors highlights, and for good reason. Aside from a few scattered Shawn Livingston (he was still kinda productive, why did he retire) vids, a slightly larger amount of Andre Iguodala vids, and, like, a Marcus Derrickson vid, my workload for them was light. That’s what happens when you have four stars in your starting lineup and three of them are some of the best scorers in the league: poor old DownToBuck starts to feel left out.

Nowadays, man, it’s a whole different story. I’m starting to lose it here with all these god-damn Warriors highlights I have to make. Every game, every single gosh-darn (sorry for saying the g-word earlier) game, it’s three or vids. One night it’s Damion Lee and Eric Paschall. Then it’s Ky Bowman and Dragan Bender and Mychal Mulder. And then the next we get Damion Lee again but also Marquese Chriss and Jordan Poole and Alen Smailagic and Chasson Randle (actually I haven’t gotten a chance for that dude yet, that would actually make me happy unlike all these other ones). I love role-players, but I shouldn’t have to be doing a vid every game for Lee. That makes him not a role-player, right, if he’s scoring 20 all the time?

Stephen Curry needs to come back and start really imposing his will on this team. He’s never been an ultra-high volume shooter, he’s never just chucked tons of shots for fun, but with this being a lost season for Golden State, that’s what he needs to do. Just so that my workload can be lessened a bit. I’m going to look back at this season fondly, I’m sure, thinking of all the fun times I had with all these scrubs, but right now, there is no fondness.
