Injuries are the most unfair thing ever. If the Grizzlies make the playoffs and still don’t have Gasol or Conley back, they will probably get smashed up pretty good even if Z-Bo returns to playoff form and scores forty in every game. They just don’t have the talent to compete with another good team that has entered “playoffs mode”. And that’s unfair.
If there was justice in the world, which there isn’t (Jennifer come back), every team’s best player would get injured like Gasol did just to even the playing field. No Curry, no Kawhi, no Paul, that’s the sort of thing that would need to happen in order to bring fairness back to this patently unfair world.
