D.J. Augustin 17 Points/6 Assists Full Highlights (12/31/2012)

One could make the case that Darryl Gerard Augustin is the worst player currently getting real minutes in the NBA. He is presently shooting 27% from the field and 22% from three-world. A few years ago he was an okay point guard with a semi-reliable three-ball, but playing for a non-Bobcats team has exposed his weaknesses to all of Indiana’s 200 fans (plus snarky internet commentators such as myself). His only use is making other point guards look like studs.

Due to an injury to starter George Hill, D.J. was forcibly thrust into the spotlight, where he managed to hit four three-pointers in a win over the Grizzlies. However, he whiffed on all his non-three-point attempts. And I bet he can’t even dunk. His new-year’s resolution should be avoid getting shipped away to the D-League.
