“Mrs. Redick, we’re calling about your son Jonathan. He was caught skipping class today.”
“Don’t worry Mr. Osterman, I’ll give him a lecture when he gets home. A fourth-grader should know better than to ignore his education.”
“It’s not that, Mrs. Redick. He failed to go to his third-period English class because he was still in second-period P.E. You see, his gym teacher told the class that he doubted anybody could make more than two three-pointers in a row. Obviously most of the class failed to rise to the challenge, but little Jonathan went last, and he, well…he just kept making them.”
“You mean…”
“Yes, Mrs. Redick. Your little boy is…a three point assassin.”
