Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has fixed (kinda) his jumper! The first offseason with shooting guru Mark Price didn’t seem to do any good, and I wondered if we would be forced to view his abominable “jumper” until kingdom come. This year, however, we were treated to some early clips on social media showcasing a totally redone form, a form which has now been displayed in a game situation, with defenders. It’s still really messed up, and if it was anybody other than MKG we’d still be complaining about it.
Not everything is peaches and booze. The second jumper in this video has a noticeable hitch. Anyone who has tried to change their form knows how easy it is to fall into old habits. It remains to be seen if he can keep this up.
His dunking form, on the other hand, still looks really good.
