I’m just going to say what everybody is thinking: Bryce Dejean-Jones is a better fit for the Pelicans than Eric Gordon at the shooting guard position. If you weren’t already thinking that, now you are, because it makes too much sense for you to possibly disagree. Dejean-Jones can do the same type of things as Gordon can but doesn’t use as many possessions. Less possessions used by role players = more possessions for Anthony Davis. The whole Pelicans offense should be based around getting Anthony Davis to score points. It should not be based around Eric Gordon scoring points. Eric Gordon is nothing. Maybe that’s not a popular opinion right now, but it will be now that I said it.
The Pelicans also need to start Alexis Ajinca or something because Omer Asik is just totally old and useless right now and will continue to be old and useless for the rest of forever. People don’t just magically get younger and less sucky. Good luck dealing with that contract, guys.
