Johnny “Irish Kobe” O’Bryant is a rare feature on my channel. There is a very clear and obvious reason for this: he kind of sucks. Bad.
Relatively speaking, that is. I’m sure he would dominate HARD in Europe. But in the NBA, he just doesn’t offer much. He has a jumper, sort of, which helps him. But he has serious problems around the rim if there is any sort of resistance (which there wasn’t tonight, hence the highlights). This year he is shooting 43 percent from 0-3 feet, which is garbage. Rubio-esque, but somehow worse. This flaw makes him borderline unplayable, and I don’t see a clear future for him on the Bucks or even in the NBA after this year.
Oh yeah, I forgot, he “hustles”. That’s what you have to do when you suck on offense like him, and he does it. Maybe that will buy him a 10-day from the Kings next year.
