It’s been a while since I told the NBA that they needed to make a dunkilation (that’s dunk compilation for you plebs out there) for Vince Carter’s entire career. It’s not a matter of if. It’s a matter of WHEN. They don’t have a choice here. Either they do it, and everyone enjoys what would probably be over an hour’s worth of dunkage, or they don’t, and I force them to, and then everyone enjoys it.
Maybe they’re waiting for Vince’s career to end. That’s cool. I understand if they want to save the goods for when he’s retired, to make sure that not a single dunk is missed. However, they could at least send out a press release or something saying that they’re working on the project. Just a short little thing to the effect of “Get ready to have your face melted off by a compilation of every single Vince Carter whamjam since his first game in the NBA. It’s going to rock your socks off, just wait a little bit until he hangs up the sneakers and then we can bust out the booze and pizza and watch the heck out of this thing.”
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go and watch that Vince Carter Top 100 Dunks video for the gazillionth time.
