Solomon Hill 15 Points Full Highlights (4/6/2016)

Solomon Hill kind of got left behind when the Pacers revamped their team to be more run-and-gun and less defensive-minded. Since Solomon is both slow and a poor shooter (thus failing to qualify as a candidate for either “running” or “gunning”), that means that his minutes have been reduced to basically nothing. An entire season of his “prime” has been wasted.

I put “prime” in scare quotes because Solomon’s prime might not be very good. If your prime sucks, does that mean it wasn’t a prime at all? We’ll find out in the next few years for Solomon. He might retire not ever having had a prime. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened to Joe Alexander. But to get any kind of idea about Solomon’s prime, he’ll have to go to a team where his defensive talents will be appreciated and nobody will care that he’s a non-shooting wing player. I don’t know what team that would be but it might be in Europe if it exists at all.
