I recently found out about a sweet video that shows Tyson Chandler playing in some kind of high school showcase game (McDonalds All-American? Maybe?) and there’s a part where he just totally whams it on some little person. I don’t exactly feel like going back to find the link, but I would recommend going to watch that video right after you watch this one.
I mean, my video ain’t no slouch either. We got dunks out the wazoo in this one. Watching old man Tyson Chandler throw down over and over on top of Dwight Howard is almost as awesome as watching a young man Tyson Chandler throw down on some nobody while Eddy Curry eats burritos in the background. If the Suns manage to speed up their rebuild like the Blazers did, and Chandler can actually sustain the level of play he’s shown recently, then maybe his outsized contract won’t be so horrible after all.
