This season has been a revelation for Archie Goodwin. Before this season, his ability to produce on the court was in serious question. Now, it has been revealed that he CAN produce on the court, sometimes. If given enough minutes and the freedom to do whatever he wants on the court. And, the production he does provide doesn’t really help a team win that many games. Production involving barely more assists than turnovers. Lots of caveats there, but still. Buckets are buckets, he’s made a lot of them this year, and that’s the whole point of this god-damn game.
Now that he’s shown that he can be a legit NBA player, he’s getting to the point where maybe some consistency would be good. He’s still a pretty young player, but there are plenty of younger ones now, and he needs to do stuff besides have potential and put up random good games.
